Two severly wounded in freak accidents

Just got the roof rack welded together (thanks Stew) and myself and Podge put the finishing lick of paint on it. Tomorrow we should be ready to rock and roll.

Before we've even started, we've acquired two casualties. Yesterday, Podge decided to attack some bushes with his machete. He then mistakenly thought his shin was a branch and took a good swing at it...lots of blood. That's what he gets for giving out to me for messing with it over the past week! Then today, when I was down with Stew in Ashford getting the welding done, I just happend to walk into the corner of an open window and put a massive gash in my shoulder. At this rate, there won't be much left in the first aid kit by the time we get to Africa.

Anyway, I better start packing now.
LET'S GET IT OONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

Sooooo...

We were supposed to be starting off on the big adventure today, but due to unforeseen circumstances (roof rack on the beast not finished yet and we are sooo unorganised), we postponed it 'till next Sunday. This of course means plenty of extra time to pack and get our shit together, and generally relax for a few more days. It also gave me time to start this blog :).

I have to say, Podge is doing a sterling job doing this and that to the jeep. He's replaced the... and the... and fixed the... (I've no idea what he's done, I'm mechanically retarded).

Hopefully Mr. Flinn/ Flinn dog/ Keemosabe will allow me to attach this to his most amazingly fantasticly wonderiferously spectacular Global-Slacker.com?????? Fingers crossed!!! He's such a nice guy!!!!!!

<--- On the left is a sort of general outline of the route we're taking. Thank you Google maps and red pen in photoshop for helping to make this picture a work of art.

God speed, 'till next time,
Synno.
